They were symptomatic of a company that had completely lost its way. The company had bet big and won by being on as many devices as possible, but had ignored product reliability. Despite the problems that have besieged the company and product for years, Evernote still has a relatively large user base. Where could Evernote go from here? The most optimistic step that Evernote might take is to double-down on development of Spaces or another team-based collaborative product.
